Good morning everyone. As a happy long-time user of Cubase 11 LE, I recommended the LE version to a friend. We installed it following the instructions, and everything seemed to work fine until the restart. When opening a saved project via the Hub, I got an “unable to open” error; furthermore, I noticed “Cubase 15 Pro” displayed in the top-left corner, even though I checked the installer and confirmed we had indeed installed the LE version. To top off the disappointment, when opening a new session, the system recognizes the external Focusrite audio interface, but the outputs have to be reconfigured for it to work properly. What is going on? Tks! to all’.
I guess you have activated a Cubase Pro15 trial version. Have you opened the Activation Manager and checked the active license?
To get a LE license your friend needs his own Download access code, does he have one?
