Behringer X-Touch One Remote

Have not tested because the Midi-remote bugs of 13.50 are in 14 too.

Will Update and Test when These bugs have been fixed.

Hi,

Not really.

Have you tested it?

Because I asked Jochen Midi-Remote-Bug channel and he mentioned that the bug is in release 14 too.

Would be great if not.

I just launched C14 and everything loaded as expected, didn’t have to do anything… I currently don’t have any bugs with the X-touch one remote script…

Where you can find this Ekholm’s script?

OK, I had to retire my old Frontier Alphatrack because the button weren’t reliable anymore. Yes, they had to be replaced… But I replaced it with the X-Touch One.

Out of the box, connected the power supply, USB and loaded the script of maik74 it worked.

Then I tried the script made by bjoluc which is great. LEDs working and fader too.

But: I can’t get the automation read and write working. I tried to “learn”, but it is ignored. No matter what I do, it won’t work.

Assigning F2 to file save command worked well. So assigning works in principle for thos script, but not for those automation knobs (I would like to use it for a selected or an active track, not global).

The script of maik74: automation works. Assigning too.

javascript is terrible to read. I can read proper written C-code, but javascript is cruel.

So, any ideas? Thanks, Mike

Latest Nuendo 14, Win 10.

I found out what the reason was: (RTFM is always a good idea, but this manual is …)

By default, the X-Touch One is in MC mode. I had to change it into MC Cubase mode.

How? (for all those who have the same problem)

Press STOP, then press the knob. Choose MC Cubase (LED shows Cu). That’s it.

I don’t understand what the select button is used for. But it works now as I wanted and I like it. It will improve my workflow I’m sure.

Regards, Mike

Struggling slightly to follow this thread. Is the link in this post still the latest version? There was mention of updates some time later but I couldn’t find one.
