Nice. I’ve never seen a bells used chart that includes the pitch names of the bells. Is that a trend now in bell music?
Not necessarily. This was a request from our bell director. She’s very competent but no “formal” training with bells. And she welcomes lots of less-experienced ringers into the group.
It’s a nice idea particularly for less experienced groups. I do still self-publish my music, but the last handbell music I’ve had published by a print publisher (Lorenz I think) was in the 1990’s, long out of print, and I don’t have a group to write for locally so I haven’t been keeping up with current trends.
