What do you use or would recommend to make back ups of Nuendo projects? Has Nuendos own back up option been good for you?

Buy yourself a Synology NAS. This has all the backup tools you need.
The Nuendo Backup function is designed to save a project in another place, thereby removing the unused stuff and some other things you can flag. This is not meant as being a safety backup tool as such.

My IT guy also recommends Synology. For cloud backup I highly recommend Backblaze, inexpensive and very effective, has saved my bacon more than once! john.
