I am need a new Midi-Controller Keyboard and would like one with good Cubase Integration. Deskspace is a bit limited so I am just after 49 keys or less (ideally 32-37) but full-sized. Weighting is not so important, I also have a digital piano that I can use if I really want an expressive keyboard.
Must have:
- Fullsized Keys about 32-49
- Cubase Transport Controls, Play, Record, Loop etc.
- Controllers for channel level, sends, etc.
Nice: - Button to bring up the Mixer view.
- USB powered
- Jog wheel type control for moving around the arrange window
Currently considering:
- NI Komplete Kontrol M32 (except for the mini-keys) but are the problems with integration now?
- Arturia KeyLab Essential 49 MK3
- Behringer Swing (lacks some functionality)
- Novation Launchkey 37
- M-Audio Oxygen Pro 49
I am currently using Cubase Artist 12 if that makes a difference to integration. What would you recommend?
