I have a friend who is interested in recording and producing. He is asking what software would be best for him. He is blind. He is also a very fine musician. While I have hard time picturing how I would operate any complex DAW without sight, my friend has substantial experience operating other complex software, and I don’t want to sell him short.
Is there anyone here who has knowledge of how various DAWS are at using voice commands, or other features that would make them either more or less compatible with the needs of blind users? What software would you suggest?
