Best method to use flams?

Hello,

Am using the Studio Kit in Groove Agent 5 SE and have worked out how to use flams etc through the ‘Rudiments’ section of ‘Midi FX’ but can’t work out an easy way of switching to flam then no flam? As far as I can see:

  1. You could use DAW automation to switch on the rudiment but this is a bit fiddly
  2. You could assign a blank pad to a snare with the flam (or whatever required rudiment) on, but as far as I can tell, there’s no way to assign pads in this way?

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

The simplest way is probably to just click a blank pad and change the Pad Mode in the MIDI FX tab to “Remote”. You can then select which pad you want to apply the effect to by using the menu to the right of this button.
