After years arranging in notation software I will try to import Music XML direct from Cubase Pro 9. There are a lot of sixteenth notes or unwanted triplets. What is the best way to go? Anybody experience with this? All the parts are quantized. Length of notes is more a problem.
Provided the notation looks as you would expect it to in Cubase’s score editor window, you should find that a MusicXML file exported from that will be notated the same way when you import it into Dorico. So the key is getting the quantization settings right in Cubase before you export the MusicXML file.
