Best way to notate this?

I was just wondering how people here would personally notate this. I’ve come up with two solutions, and they both seem a little clumsy to me.

This is isn’t cluttered, but I still have mixed thoughts about it.

This is more obvious and direct, but also more cluttered.

This is for an engraving project, and there aren’t pedal markings, so I wouldn’t be able to simply add a pedal marking, removing the need for the ties.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

If playback is not important my – admittedly weird – approach is to notate the last quintuple note as chord and the half note chord in a different voice.

The benefit is that you can create ties but you’re also able to hide the noteheads and ledger lines.

The downfall is you must also hide the stem and mock it with a custom line.

Or grace notes in bar 2 set to before the barline.

Just a thought. How about use the first example with LV ties in the Tuplet. Less cluttered than full ties and still gives the indication that the notes are held through.

Yes I agree. I will go in that direction
