I’ve found that meter dB scale readability is bad for tracks. It would be nice to be able to customize the color of the numbers.
I know this isn’t what you asked for, but in my opinion it’s actually easier to just customize the color of the metering instead. I have it set so that the ballistics/fallback time looks good to me and when my signal is around -24LKFS that’s a specific color on my meter. Below it’s a different color and above it’s red.
To me that’s faster and easier to see.
