Strange, something is unstable in your system.
not after disabling HTâŚShould i be able to run with HT in any case?
Yes, cubase should not crash to desktop on a stable system full stop, are u on Mac or win?
WindowsâŚ
Can it be, that I have updated the free KONTAKT player, that makes cubase crash? I have reset the system back to before I have installed the update, and I also disabled HT and Asio guard. So I do not know, which of the two things, that makes cubase crash. I had problems with KONTAKT before. Do you think, that I should enable HT again?
yet, you should be able to work with HT, what error are you getting? or just a total BSOD, lockup/reboot?
or crash to desktop?
Well,
Necrothread bumpâŚIâm just running tests here, Cubase 11.5 latest build, 6/12 core i7 CPU @5Ghz, and whatever I do, export or just use it, only the first core zero is used 100%. The next, 1, is used like 90% and from then on it dwindles so that the last cores get about 10% of use; overall CPU usage stays at ~48% at best.
Really doesnât seem to me Cubase uses all the cores very efficiently even in soon 2022.
