Beyerdynamic DT 770 for Steinberg UR242

Hello,

I am planning on purchasing the Beyerdynamic DT 770 studio headphones to use with my Steinberg UR242, but I am not really sure which impedance version should I get - 32, 80 or 250-ohm. As far as I’m concerned, the 32-ohm version is most likely to work well with the UR242 (headphone output specs: 15 mW+15 mW, 40 Ω), but I am also curious if I could get optimal performance/sufficient volume levels with the 80 or the 250 versions?

Any advise/suggestion/experience on the issue would be highly appreciated!
Thank you!

I use the 770 250ohms with the ur816c , no problemes with volume.
Offcourse the soundsource has to be loud enough. In cubase its perfect.

So which one did you buy? I plan to buy the same for my ur22mkII.

With UR242 by all means use 32 Ohm.
