Was able to isolate the plugin to consistently crash Cubase 9.5 on exit.
Steps to reproduce:
Create an audio track
Insert Bias Pedal and select any distortion/overdrive effect (BIAS Pedal Desktop 2.3.0.5266 64-bit)
Save your work
Exit Cubase 9.5 and the following crash will happen (uninstalling the bais pedal desktop plug-in is the only way to fix your project)
The following crash consistently happen on exiting/closing Cubase 9.5 on Windows 7 SP1/16GB of memory. Cubase stays resident then in memory and I cannot kill the process, and thus must reboot my machine.
Most probably this will be plug-in issue. But, could you share (via Dropbox or similar) the whole (source) crashdunp file, please? You can find it in the Documents/Steinberg/crashdumps.
Yes, it is definitely the plugin as it’s the only only for me that causes Cubase 9.5 on exit. Have verified by just using the plugin by itself as a stand alone insert. Crashes every time on exit.
I’l post both the crash log, and the log data dump that Positve Grid had me create shortly via dropbox.
Here you go. There are no crashdump files in the directly unfortunately. WHen bias pedal crashes, it keeps Cubase 9.5 in memory, and I can’t kill the process. My guess is it never gets a chance to write the crashdrump as best as I can tell. I have included the info from the bias pedal dump below though.
