Thanks ever one. Was a good day with some rough edges.

My pop got me a sony playstation :slight_smile: I donā€™t even have a TV. I had to respectively decline since I would waste a lot of time if I had one of those things. I suppose I would be a better marksman though if I did and played those 3rd person shooter games.

The studio got another 8-channel extension car for the mixer. Nice to stretch out over 24 channels and not have to page around as much.

Girlie got me a fondu set. When we returned from dinner, the dog was proudly carrying what was left of the once-gift-wrapped sourdough loaf around like a prize. There were bread crumbs all over the house. Friking everywhere! The dog also got into the chocolate but only got a little bit of it and wound up needing to go out every 10 minutes to relieve itself. Thankfully I was able to sleep through most of it! :mrgreen:

Still experiencing some serious rough edges with the girlfriend. Donā€™t have a lot of patience for it during this time of year. Driving home from her house cursing in the car which is really rare for me. I even spent the day getting re-centered and sang positive reinforcing improv while playing guitar. Some serious polarity issues here.

I have had worse years though.

Replace ā€œgirlfriendā€ with ā€œwifeā€ and it starts to sound like my life. :unamused:

I wish she had listened during the past 6 months when I told her we needed to cut back spending. And I wish I hadnā€™t waited so long to take away the credit card. Now I have to play the Grinch since we canā€™t afford much for Christmas. Ugh.

I also declined the gift of a PS3 from my brothers a year or two ago ā€“ I knew Iā€™d never play it. They kept it and play it all the time

Regarding wives and girlfriends: Iā€™ve arrived at the conclusion, after much analysis and study, that women, although beautiful and possessing many nice qualities, are actually quite crazy. Not insaneā€¦ just crazy

Do you realize that a PS3 is ALSO a Blu ray disc player and can even do 3D movies? You can also stream or download movies from Sony, Netflix, Vudu and TV shows from Hulu with an internet connection. And you can stream music from any home PC on the network. Plus moreā€¦
