Yes, I use Cubase 7 now. ( I have used Cubase before, in many years since Atari + other DAWs)
I still think SONAR X series is really good especially Pro channel. X3 is real upgrade with ARA and VST3 but I haven’t upgrade yet.
I’m so very pleased with Cubase, so invested in CMC-series too. Its a real pleasure to work with Cubase on Windows 7 x64. Outstanding stability and most available advance features on the DAW market.
I like all the new features in Cubase 7.0.6,the new mixers-view, Trackstrip, icons, completely free color GUI-environment etc. I think the version 7 its the best version so far.

Glad to hear that you feel comfortable with Cubase 7.
For me the same, i finished updating Sonar X.
As you said, a good sequencer, but i’m struggling with the very small buttons, controller in the mixer, and the poor drum map realization.
