Blank measures in guitar part

Hi,

In my score, there are spots in the guitar part with chord symbols above blank measures (no default rests or anything). I can’t add any notes or slashes. How do I do that?

Hi @Jon_Menges, see if you have deactivated this Layout Option for the bar rests in empty bars.

Show bar rests in empty bars

You can reactivate it. But you should be able to insert notes also with that option deactivated: double clicking in the empty bar…
