Block Midi Input

Hello,

I am currently using VST Live and would like to inquire about the possibility to directly block or filter specific MIDI input messages within the software.

Currently, I see the MIDI Transform tool, but it seems limited to transforming MIDI data rather than fully blocking certain MIDI messages such as CC7 (Volume) or other controllers that interfere with my workflow.

Could you please let me know if there is a built-in feature to block MIDI input messages? If not, is there any plan to implement such functionality in a future update?

Thanks!! But I can’t set that this “globally” for my main midi Keyboard, right? (I have a Stage Piano for midi Input and it sends Main Volume midi signals every time it turns on so that my plugins will turn the volume down.)

You have 2 options. First you have to edit every layer in each song what should be blocked. Second, you can make a global layer with input your keyboard and output to a virtual MIDI port and edit this layer controller map. On every other layer you choose the virtual MIDI port as input.

… and this is a good request. VST Live needs a Block List for your Connections. It already has a Transformer control
