Blue outline on waveform?

Using the Rainbow view in Wavelab 12, I’ve set my colors to be all white across the entire spectrum… but I still have a bunch of blue in the waveform. What am I missing? Thx.

This is a waveform outline, present in all cases. More or less visible according to the zooming.
Though it is possible to change its color though the Waveform color styling, in the audio file settings (independent from Rainbow), I don’t recommend you go this way.

Thanks. Well, I can’t imagine at the moment why I wouldn’t want to make it lighter by default. I’ll give it a shot.

If you want an all-white waveform, this is not the Rainbow feature you need.
You rather need to edit the standard Wave style.
But I warn you: this is a delicate task because many color contexts interact with one another, eg. marker lines, selections, curves, etc.

Thanks PG.
I was watching Phil Pendlebury’s marvelous new Wavelab 12 tutorial video and trying to emulate a couple of the rainbow presets he shows. I noticed that a colored waveform outline isn’t present, at least in a couple of the presets. And they look quite lovely to me. So I made my entire spectrum white, temporarily, to try to isolate the blue in the waveform:

That’s Phil Pendlebury’s preset:

…and that’s what I copied from his video, except I chose white instead of gray, for now… Yet I have a blue waveform outline… So, either his waveform outline setting is different… OR I need to change white to gray to see if that removes the blue… ??

Anyway, when I boot up the studio, I will try these things. Thanks.
