Since updating from N13 to N15, I’ve been having issues with the video output from the Decklink Mini Monitor. Long story short: when I step through the video frame-by-frame, the output sometimes gets stuck on the same frame for a few frames. Even when I am in the middle of a video and go back to the beginning, the image stays frozen on the frame where I last stopped it.
When I hit play, everything runs smoothly, and sometimes it doesn’t happen for hours, but when it does, it’s quite annoying. Restarting Nuendo helps to resolve it, for a while.
It happens on both systems I have running here, both Mac Pros 7.1 running macOS Sonoma 14.8.2.
One system has a Mini Monitor on Desktop Video version 12 (cannot go higher) and the other system has a Mini Monitor 4K on Desktop Video version 14.2.1.
I’ve already tried seeing if other versions of Desktop Video work better, but no luck so far.
Does anyone recognize this issue? I never had this problem on N13.
