I thought it worked this way if you do Bounce Selection to an event and choose “replace”, it renames the event to the track name, which is what I would like. Is that not the case?
I believe it will use the event’s name rather than the track name.
Got ya! So you would have to manually rename it and it doesn’t follow the track name? I recorded some stuff, but renamed the track after recording, so I’m wondering how to get the consolidated event to follow the track name now.
I like to use audio parts which is like a container for audio events. Use the function Events to Part. Now when renaming the track, hold shift while pressing enter and the part will be renamed the same as the track. The events inside the part will remain unchanged.
Hello, I’ve recently started using Cubase 14. In previous versions of Cubase, I could rename a track and then bounce it, and the new track would take on the new name. That’s no longer the case here; the name remains unchanged. Is there a way to configure Cubase differently to restore this functionality? Thanks for your reply.
Try adding the event to an audio part and then bounce that audio part. Of course you’ll need to name your part to what you want the new bounced audio file to have.
