Boxed Playing Technique

Hi,

Is there anyway to create Playing Techniques with a box/border? (specifically - mutes in and out indications for brass)

A possible workaround would be to hide the actual playing technique and add a boxed text indication, but I’d to know about a better way.

Not that I know of, since playing techniques use the Font Styles and not the Paragraph Styles. Maybe Shift-X text is better, and use a hidden Playing Technique if you need playback.

I managed with Finale Jazz text font since it has these extras.
Or you can create them in Affinity Designer/Adobe Illustrator or similar and export them as SVG:s. Then import then under Type: Glyph in the Playing Technique editor.
