Brace missing from keyboard staves after manual staff visibility change

Hi,

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but I can’t understand what I did wrong.

I have a piece with just piano grand staff. I have hidden the left hand after the introduction and at some point I have resumed “manual staff visibility” because I need to write a bassline.
Why are the two staves not bracketed together anymore as they are supposed to be?

I have written 4 bars using the normal grand staff. I then hid the left hand using “manual staff visibility”, and wrote the rest of the piece with just the right hand staff and chord symbols. Now I need to resume using the grand staff for the coda, so I use “manual staff visibility” again to show the left hand staff, and the result is what you see in the second screenshot. It resumes fine but the two staves are not bracketed.
Thanks for your help

I have solved it actually. There was a “brackets and carline change” signpost hidden somewhere, that I put in order to avoid seeing this on every single right hand staff.

Is there any way of avoiding having that in this particular scenario?

Please try the following setting and see if that is what you want.

Layout options>Brackets and Braces>When only one staff of braced group is shwon, select DO not draw brace.
