Bracketed Chord Alternative

Hello colleagues and team,
I need some help. Would someone could tell me how to create bracketed chord alternatives next to the main chord? Without adding extra beats.
the notes could be small cued.
I would like to give the violin players to decide which fingering and voice-leading is more comfortable for them, because for some quadruple
stops I have two or three working variants.

Thank you very much in advance!

Best wishes,
Thurisaz

Do you mean an alternative set of notes shown in the staff? Probably the best thing to do would be to add a new voice and then write the alternative chord in that new voice at the same rhythmic position. The chord can be offset from the first one using the note spacing tools in Engrave mode, made cue-sized (or whatever size you like) via the ‘Scale’ property, and indeed made stemless if you wish using the ‘Hide stem’ property (which can only be set in Engrave mode).

If you have a complex passage with a number of alternatives in close proximity, the more conventional approach to notating this would be using an ossia staff. Dorico allows you to create two ossias, one above and one below the main staff.

Daniel hello,
Thank you very much for the help! It worked as I needed!
