New user. I have been using bracketed notes on occasion for highlighting. However, I have noticed that upon playback, the bracketed note volume is much lower than NON bracketed notes. Can someone explain why and is there a way to negate that effect?

Is this in a drum part? Bracketed notes are likely set as ghost notes there w/ appropriate restrained playback. If you don’t like it, there may be a way to change the Expression Map to increase the volume on those notes.
Not a drum part but a trumpet player. I have not delved into expression maps yet. I’ll watch a few videos on the subject to try to figure it out. Thanks for your reply.
