Here is BrainStormer by Roazhon DSP, a free VST3 synthesizer.
It is still in beta, but sounds very promising. It is also written using the VST3.6 SDK, same as the newly written VST Connect. It is borderline criminal to not support such progressive behavior! 
Nice find, Will try this out when it hits 1.0, there’s still some stability issues apparently.
I agree it’s great that people try working with the latest VST versions, a project like this would be something I might want to do as well.

I can program but I have no experience with the VST spec and SDK so I’ll need to read into it first. I’ll let you know when I have something concrete!
