Here is an arrangement I made in Dorico for Brass Quintet and Percussion. I do love the flexibility we have in Dorico. Here, I used NP5.0 with BBCSO Core Horn, PRIME Trombone,
Berlin Free Tuba & Snare Drum and SSO 2024 for Tubular Bells and Tambourine.
A follow-up to my delight in Dorico’s Flexibility is this completely different jazz ensemble piece I composed. Made entirely in Dorico with NP sounds (except the Kontakt Chris Hein Horns Flugelhorn) and some Steinberg Reverence reverb. Of course, some of the jazz phrasing and articulations aren’t quite what they should be. That topic has been discussed in the Forum. Still, it;s not too bad for ‘out of the box.’
