Brauerizing In Cubase

Yes, thats the one, nothing to do with Brauerize, used it to spice up one reverb.

Iā€™m also interested in studying your cubase template. Would appreciate a link.
Thanks!

Link is here in the thread.

hi dirx! iā€™d also love to check out your template! Do you mind sending it to me? <3

Edit: found it in the forum  TY!

Dirx posted the project file in a previous post.
It would be great if a mod could somehow sticky that post, or pin it so that it remains visible given that this thread has become 3 years worth of people asking for the project file!

@Dirx
After reading through the whole topic and much more online, I downloaded your template and I had a question.
My understanding is that sends are usually set to 0db and you calibrate the compressors from there. Your template has different send levels and I was curious about how you decided on those numbers. Itā€™s a missing piece of the puzzle that my brain canā€™t seem to find an answer to.

Apart from the ā€œno rulesā€ rule :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: , there is no calibration for the sends intended.
You apply compression ( -colour) of your Taste with different levels for the sends, even might have different settings for different parts of the song. Might also just use three sends for the given Situation.
I tried a fast search where I got this from, no luck, but I am also limited in time today, it is broadly covered here:

"ā€¦
Unlike the ABCD busses, there isnā€™t any calibration for the Multi-Vocal set-up and through experimentation have found any gain reduction in excess of 3dB to be detrimental. In having 5 compressors reducing gain by 3dB, 15dB of Gain Reduction is achieved overall that sounds natural, as opposed to how choked and revealing a singular insert of 15dB would be. A diagram displaying the routing of the Multi-Vocal set-up ITB along with recommended plug-ins can be found in Figure 4ā€¦
"
Maybe Iā€™ll find the Interview, where he talks about it.

Hey Dirx, Although I have my templates, I downloaded this out of curiosity. Iā€™m always wanting/willing to learn something new. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Would I be able to get this? Is it based on the latest video he did?

Can I get this? I have the protools Template. Is the cubase one everyone speaks of here just the Sub busses A B C D and Eā€¦ Brauer template is Much Much deeper than that

the brauer template is much deeper than just the A B C D and E busses

Cheers mate,

I never stated, that it would all be about A B C D and E busses.

there is a link in this thread.

Dirx

Thank You So Much.! Did you do all the calibration too?

No, my calibration was to have a starting point for levels in the k-12 metering zone.

The ā€œBrauerā€-part in my template was about routing, signal flow and dual-mono compression in Cubase.
On the plugin side I chose completely unrelated thingsfor reasons I stated before ( light on CPU and low latency).

Hi @Dirx
i wonder if you can send the template to try Thank you !!

Hi Hani_Siblini,
it is here in this post

Hi everyone, I posted this question in 2019, and I finally cracked the code. Hereā€™s the full Michael Brauer Mix Template for Cubase: https://audiospectra.net/michael-brauer-template/
