Breath mark linked to voice?

Alas… I cheered too early … Again the same problem: in this song I defined the time signature as 1/2,10 i.e. Shown as a 1/2 bar, but actually 10 half notes. I selected the D on the 7th half note to place the comma, but… it is placed on the end of the tied F (whole + quaver)… The comma should be placed before the quaver D…

It is indeed placed on the right place when I first delete the tie in the 2nd voice, then enter the comma and re-tie the F again… as shown by MarcLarcher

Note that I sent the file, and I am not the OP! Which means the problem is not only on my system…
I’d wait for some advice from the Team (and most important for the OP: he has a working solution!)

I’m afraid I can’t account for what’s apparently happening on Marc’s system.

Although breath marks are created for the staff as a whole (i.e. they are not voice-specific, rather staff-specific), their position is primed from the duration of the selected note when you create them via the popover.

@MarcLarcher
Sorry, I didn’t see that I was looking at a file that you sent. I guess, then, that there is a deeper problem..
Thank you for the frequent, generous, and kind offers of help, and solutions to the forum. Your expertise has helped me learn so much about Dorico — in a short time!

Another evidence that the comma is not related to a specific voice: In this song (bar 8) the whole note is the last one of a frase. So, the comma needs to be placed just before the half note A (see first example). By selecting the whole note and input the comma, results in placement after the 1st quaver. So, to avoid shift that comma to the right place, I select the 4th quaver and enter the comma. THAN it will be placed on the right spot… (see 2nd example)

It seems to be a bug in the program…
NB: when the rhythm is the same and the comma needs to be placed at the second voice, it will be great that it does not appear ABOVE the staff, but in the neighbourhood of that voice… (no example included)
