Sometimes I would like a short break between phrases, like after the dotted half A.
1-I think most real players will naturally phrase this well.
2-The playback engine, however, will not break between phrases unless I write in a short rest (like a 16th).
Is there a mark to break the phrase like a breath?

Why can’t we use the same and write “tick”? comma is ok but not for other like tick, upbow,.. we must write the whole name: breathmarktick
We’re limited to the words and phrases that Dorico recognizes, although I agree that it would be nice if there were shorter options for the other types of breath marks.
