Bring back copy by alt+drag&drop in score editor

…the title says it!

This was for me the fastest way to write notes for decades!

Hi,

What exactly you cannot copy via Alt + drag&drop, please?

It’s working here on my side.

it´s a score editor feature request. There this functionality is gone.
It´s an essential function to work in Cubase within all areas.

This has been an issue since 14 was released. The newest update has not mentioned fixing it and I won’t go there unless I know there is a fix. Not being able to copy/paste using option/Alt key is tedious to say the least.
When I mentioned this some time ago, one of the mods said something about the move to Dorico style scoring was difficult and some things may take time to appear. I accept that at face value but I don’t understand why this particular feature is not available in score edit when it is available in every other editor.

Oh wow, I’ve actually been using Cubase for 20 years and never knew that you could copy with alt-drag and drop. That’s a great feature. I’ve always just selected the notes in the piano roll and copy and positioned the playhead and paste.

yeah, alt+drag&drop is so much faster!

Yes, important +1 feature to re-implement in the new score editor.

Ideally would be implemented so that multiple objects can be selected and copied at once so that I can, say, select a sequence of dynamics, fp cresc ff as an example, and quickly copy the 3 objects to other staffs.
