Hi! The question is about Cubase 13 score editor. I have a hidden staff (used Hide/Show when right-clicking on the blue rectangle on the left of selected staff). Now I want to bring it back. I checked the Hide checkbox, now I got “Hide;” marker on the place of the hidden staff. But right-clicking on this marker doesn’t give any option to show it back… Any ideas?
Hi,
-
Open the Score Editor:
Double-click on the MIDI part containing the hidden staves to access the Score Editor. -
Enable the Filters Bar:
• On the Score Editor toolbar, click on the “Set up Window Layout” button (often represented by a gear icon).
• In the window that appears, ensure that the “Filters” option is activated. This will display the filters bar within the Score Editor. -
Show Hidden Objects:
• On the filters bar, activate the “Hide” option. This will reveal markers labeled “Hide:Name” (where “Name” is the staff name) indicating the positions of hidden staves. -
Remove the Hide Marker:
• Locate the “Hide” marker corresponding to the staff you wish to display.
• Click on this marker to select it.
• Press the Backspace or Delete key to remove the marker.
Once the “Hide” marker is deleted, the corresponding staff will become visible again in your score.
For more detailed information, you can refer to the Steinberg documentation on Showing Hidden Objects.
Thanks, got it. It was really easy, I was searching for a context menu with right click, but I needed just to press Delete key. By the way - Backspace doesn’t work here)
