BSOD with Elements using Soundblaster Z driver.

Anyone tried this combination yet, I’m having problems.

Everything loads fine, but when I hit a key it starts to make a sound, then I get BSOD.

Any insights ?

Soundblaster Z. 64 Bit Windows 7

Ditch the SB and get a real ASIO compliant soundcard.

Try using ASIO4ALL. It is a free generic ASIO driver. Just google it.
And I would add that Jeff is not be facetious. If you really want to use Cubase properly, with reasonable performance, you need an ASIO soundcard.

I fixed it in the end thanks - it was another program that had messed up my audio. The card works fine now in ASIO mode.
