Bug: Bar number changes when inputting repeat sign or time signature

Hi everyone,

I encounter a strange bug (maybe it’s not a bug but my own incompetence – we’ll find out).

There is a repeat section with a first and second ending (each one bar). When I add a repeat sign directly after the second ending (to start a new repeat section) it changes the bar number of the second ending to that of the first.

I attached two screenshots illustrating the problem.

Is this a known bug or simply my stupidity?

UPDATE: It also happens when you change the time signature (see video below).

I can reproduce it.

It looks like if you temporary change the bar counting settings, it’s solved…

Also, hitting Undo doesn’t restore the bar numbers. You have to delete the first (backward) repeat barline for that. This indeed seems buggy.

Thank you two for reproducing the bug and for suggesting a workaround.

The workaround I now follow (if anyone’s interested) is doing both repeat signs first and then adding the endings. This does not change the numbers.
