Bug: Can't use "Open in Separate Window" Key Command unless double clicked

Hey all,

I assigned a key command (CTRL+0) to “Open in Separate Window”. But it doesn’t work, unless I double click the audio or midi event first. (to be sure: I have “Double click opens editor in lower zone” enabled).

When I select an event (single click), and press CTRL+0, the arrow in the top-right corner of the lower zone flashes, but nothing happens.

When I double-click first (which, incidentally, brings up the inspector panel for the midi event as well), and then press CTRL+0, it works.

I expect the key command should work even after single-click.

Let me know if it’s broken for you as well.

I can confirm this. Same over here.

If I am not mistaken it has been this way at least since Cubase 14.
