Bug: CB14 new event volume fader + empty "Reset to Default" action

  1. Create an audio track and import an audio file onto it
  2. Try changing the volume of the audio event by dragging the fader that appears in the bottom left corner of the event (new Cubase 14 feature)
  3. Everything works as intended.
  4. in “Preferences>Edit>Tool Modifiers”, “Control” category, “Reset to Default” action, click on the “Assign” button without holding down any modifier key to unassign it.
  5. Try step 2 again.
  6. Note that the volume of the event will be reset to the default value and you will not be able to change it.

I tried this on my Windows 11 machines with Cubase 14 Pro version 14.0.5.

Thank you,
a.

you are right.
