[Bug] Dorico Pro 5: Paste Special -> Paste Into Voice entry does nothing

Hello! Sorry if this is not the correct spot to post - I just signed up for the forums.

I am using Dorico Pro 5 for Windows and noticed something odd / broken.

I have selected a dynamic marking and wish to copy it to a specific voice (instead of just the staff above or below). This would apparently be accomplished via: Edit → Paste Special → Paste Into Voice → ???

The problem is that even though ‘Paste Into Voice’ shows a little arrow indicating a sub-menu will appear… it never does. Neither hovering nor clicking Paste Into Voice does anything; it doesn’t even make the menu disappear. It’s as if the code is performing a no-op.

The forums aren’t allowing me to post a link to a screenshot, but hopefully the issue is self-explanatory. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! New users can’t upload images, sorry.

I think you can just type a dynamic using shift-D and apply it to a note in any voice you want. I don’t think that “Paste into Voice” is used for anything but notes. So if it works for notes, I think it’s probably fine.

Welcome to the forum, @larry.schrof. The Paste Into Voice command doesn’t work on dynamics, only on notes and chords. It is a good idea that it should work on dynamics as well, but that isn’t possible at the moment.
