-open or create new cubase 6 project
-load Roland Fantom G vst editor
-in Fantom G editor select ‘patch list’
-patch list doesn’t come up, and cubase freezes
If you ask Roland, they will say Steinberg change the goalposts but if you ask Cakewalk people they say VST 2.4 is adequate for nearly anything you’d want to program.
This plugin was works fine in studio one and in reaper
Use the standalone editor via MIDI.
That’s what I just started to do. but it would be nice to have it working in cubase 6 too
