I tried reporting this to Steinberg US, but they said they don’t provide support for Dorico iPad and they recommended posting here. When I enter single notes at A3, Bb3, or B3 (the 3 notes below middle C) using Iconica Sketch Violins 1, Dorico plays octaves. It doesn’t affect any other notes and no other string sections (Violins 2 is fine). This is using the Vlns, Vlas, Celli expression map. Can anyone else confirm? Thanks!

I’m going to check this out now. And yes, as soon as you have a question, a problem, something to share about Dorico… do it here! This forum is very responsive and filled with fellow users who will help you. The devs read all the posts and answer to some — we fellow users actually answer to help them spend less time answering and more time living their lives (familiy time, developing time…) 
Next time you have this kind of problem, try and upload a project that exhibits the problem: this saves everyone time and you’re more likely to get an answer in five minutes.
And… I can confirm this!!! It’s probably already been documented here, although I don’t remember it.

Thanks for the confirmation Marc and for the welcome! I really enjoy Dorico on my M2 iPad. It’s really fast and well thought out. The bug is minor and hopefully a simple fix for the team down the road.

You are right, something is wrong with those three notes, some samples need some reworking…
