In Cubasis 3.0 and 3.1, in the Media Bay with the Projects tab selected, tapping the header of the Date column should sort the projects by date. Instead, it sorts by the textual representation of the date. This treats the month as the most significant part, then the day of the month, then the year. This makes it impossible to get a quick view of your most recent projects – especially annoying when you’re switching back and forth among two or three recent projects or just wondering, “Now what project was I working a few days ago?”
The result of the current sorting is that Cubasis 3 / 3.1 incorrectly considers these dates to be sorted in ascending order:
5/23/20
5/4/20
6/15/20
6/5/20
6/8/20
This will get much worse in October, when the month becomes 2 digits. The date 10/1/2020 will be considered earlier than 2/1/2020 because 1 is less than 2.
If it’s too much trouble to sort by an underlying numerical representation of the date, then please change the textual representation to “YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM AM|PM” (NOT YYYY-DD-MM!) so that textual sorting will produce chronological sorting. (Don’t forget to add leading zeros to hours of 9 and below.)
