steps

  1. open/new montage
  2. Have plugins on the montage output
  3. Open GUI of one of the OUTPUT plugins
  4. Go to Track plugin view
  5. Try to load a plugin chain previously saved
  6. it switches to output chain and loads the chain there.

To avoid you have to close all GUI of output plugins

Thanks for your report. I confirm.

This might be a related bug:

  1. Have a plugin GUI from output plugins list open / shown
  2. go to track plugins view (have a few loaded)
  3. Re-order a plugin in track plugins by drag-drop
  4. After droping the view changes to output plugins

Also a solution to the original bug reported is to focus / select a GUI of a track plugin from another track. (I guess the focus is probably the cause for the switch)
