Hi there,
I’m new here and haven’t found another entry talking about this issue.
I have two lyric tracks, a marker track for song parts and a lyric only track.
In the lyric visualizer i select the lyric track, but it automatically changes to my marker track when the part changes.
Also it seems to go out of sync with the song part playback indicator (within the setlist screen)
Is this a known issue?
More Details to what I have done:
I have imported two marker tracks from cubase 12 Pro (12.0.70) to VST Live 3 Pro (3.0.20.128).
The first marker track is a marker track describing the song parts and the second contains lyrics (as I found it hard to edit them in VST Live yet)..
The marker track is just information about the parts, for example “Verse 1”, “Pre Chorus”, “Chorus”, etc…
The lyrics track contains the lyrics.
I could think of even more lyric tracks containing additional notes for technicians or guiding information as for example “tune to Drop C” or something like that.
used to create parts (for song navigation mostly) “Let’s start again at Chorus 2”
automatically created from my arranger track in my Cubase session via Cubase→Vst Live→Export Project
Marker - Track
might be used for text guidance, for example “Keep in mind to tune to Drop C”
in this example I have just copied the song parts
automatically created as well from my Cycle-Marker Track in my Cubase session via Cubase→Vst Live→Export Project
Lyrics - Track
used, well, for lyrics…
Problem:
I open the lyrics tab (but happens within the other lyric monitors as well) and select my lyrics track
start the song at Chorus 1
the lyrics show up
when song proceeds to the next part (Verse 1) the monitor switches to the Marker-track. But that’s a different use case as I want to use the monitor for lyrics only.
