For a single slide/glissando, manually setting the properties of the individual gliss to “Continuous” in the lower properties panel works AOK.
Doing the same thing of manually changing the gliss for two notes, even on two separate gliss-lines reverts the playback to stepped/chromatic.
This is as expected. MIDI pitch bend applies channel-wide, so Dorico defaults to using chromatic glissando playback when multiple notes in a chord have glissandos. If the intervals between all the pairs of source and destination notes are the same, Dorico could use pitch bend, but for simplicity, it does not: whenever a chord is present, Dorico will use chromatic playback.
