Bug on display chords on iPad

@Spork
Hello,

I have a recurring bug with the display chords on iPad.

Currently, on songs at the end of a VSTL3 project, the chord track is present but doesn’t display on the iPad or iPhone; the display is blank.

On another project, re-importing the same song makes the chords reappear on the iPad.

These can be chords imported from Cubase 15 or created manually.

I don’t know when the problem will affect other songs.

It’s completely random.

I need a solution; French technical support can no longer help me.

I’m appealing to the developers, please.

Thank you in advance.

Everything is up to date.

Support Ticket #763475

Hello @Spork

Update 3.0.40
is catastrophic.
I’m left with 4 tracks and no access to the chord tracks.

Hi @RRFLO17,

can you please create an archive (“File / Save Archive”) of your project and give me access to it? Then I’ll analyze it.

See you
Michael.

Yes.
How do I secure the link?
There’s also a link on my tickets.

I was able to test it today on a different OS and a different computer.
Unfortunately, I can’t test it on Windows.
I’m still having the same problem.
I don’t think I’m the only one.

Hello @RRFLO17,

I have no access to your project. What I am doing to get your problem reproduced.

1 Start VST Live
2 Load your project “20 ans concert steinberg.vlprj”
3 Select your song “things forgotten 2026 live”
4 Start VST Live MODS
5 Select CHORDS Module

All chords are displayed. What am I doing wrong? Can you give me a detailed instructions to get it reproduced.

See you,
Michael.

Hello
Yes, that’s the correct procedure.
I have no chords on my iPad and iPhone

Sometimes I get the message “No song”

The same song on iPad

The same song after restart VST mod

My iPad A16 iOS 26.4.2

It would seem (this is just an impression) that the problem is intermittent when turning the iPad on or off.

Currently version 1.5.3.170

@Spork Do you have access to my links that I shared with French support? I shared videos showing some bugs

… that’s interesting. First it is working? Then, before turning the iPad Off, The MODS are opened and visible? Then you turn it Off and wait how long before turning it on? Any detail will help.

Yes, I have access to it. But I only see one video : IMG_2655.MOV

Thank you,
Michael.

No, it’s always the same.
When I start VST Mods, it’s always the same songs that don’t display.

Then, as I use it more, more bugs appear:
It shows up online, but the song names don’t display and there’s no chord.

The bug was already present at the very beginning of version three.

However, the only problematic songs were chord tracks from Cubase 15.

This is what I get after restarting all my devices

@Spork

Hello, version 3.0.41.

Vst mod 1.3.5.170
I think the problem is with VST mod.
On a recent iPad, the main chords display correctly except for the same song.
On an iPhone 15, the last three songs still don’t display the chord track.
On an older iPad, the same thing happens.

However, what’s annoying is that for any reason, if the iPad is turned off or if you switch to another application, you have to unload the VST mod application and relaunch it. Otherwise, the application is offline.
A pause of about three to five seconds.

Same issue here (this last one, having to restart VST Mods if app is left).
