Bug or normal feature?

I seem to remember that when creating a “New Version” of an audio track or MIDI track with Ctrl + Shitf + N, it kept an identical copy of the current arrangement of the selected type of track, which could be modified… Is this correct?

However when selecting a track and typing Cntrl + Shift + N, a new version appears totally empty, without the audio or MIDI events, is there something I have disabled or what am I doing wrong?

What are the actual names of those commands, as opposed to the keyboard shortcuts. My key commands are not the same as yours.

If you mean you

  1. you duplicated the version and
  2. you invoked New Version

that’s how it works.
