[BUG] Project Filter Track Types inconsistencies - Cubase 15.0.30 Win 11

This is a 3-part bug, best described with screenshots…

Start: All tracks visible in Project window

Bug Part 1: Apply track filter: None. (Deselect “All Track Types”)
Newer folders remain visible (both with and without group channel), certain (older?) folders are hidden. This does not match the behaviour of the “Filter Channel Types” in MixConsole.

NOTE: I’m unsure exactly what defines an “older folder” (probably pre the Group-channel option), but here I imported some folders/tracks from a project that was over a year old. I noted the same behaviour in that project also.

Bug Part 2: Despite having “Sync Track/Channel Type Filters” selected. Changes in the Project window are not mirrored in the MixConsole

Bug Part 3: Apply Track Filter: All Track Types
Older Folder tracks remain hidden

This behavior started after the new Folder Tracks with group functions were implemented.

I am not sure Steinberg will see this as a bug, neither a problem… But this has to be fixed IMO.

PS. There is a thread in here (or over at Nuendo) in which there is a discussion about this exact matter.

This is driving my crazy, and it’s the one thing that makes me still work in Cubase 14

Ok, thanks. I didn’t realise it was a known issue.

I DO think that the Part 2 of this bug (the sync not working between Proj and MixConsole) is pretty fundamental and definitely should be addressed.
