I’m trying to record files into an existing montage. I click the record button… and I make sure that “Add to selected track of montage” is selected, but once the recording is complete, Wavelab is putting the recorded file on track 1 instead of track 2 (the selected track). ALSO, Wavelab is putting the newly recorded audio UNDERNEATH the audio files that are already on track 1. This is a problem also because I then need to drag the file on top of it off, so I can then drag the newly recorded track to track to where it should be, and then I return the original file where it’s supposed to be…
Anyway… Just wanted to report the issues so they can be resolved. Overall, I’m loving Wavelab 10 so far, so thanks PG for your efforts. It’s a delight to use the program every day…
