Bug? Select All not working correctly N13 Win 11

I use Select All in one of my macros and there seems to be a change in N13.
In N12 when you Select All it selects everything in the timeline, when I try Select All in N13 and there is an existing marker track the only things that get selected are the markers. I’m currently on Windows 11. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks.

UPDATE: This. behaviour only happens if the Marker Window is open and the Sync Selection box is checked under settings on the Marker Window.

Hi,

I can’t reproduce this here on my side.

Does it also happen, if you trigger the function by a Key Command (as a single function, not in the Macro)?

Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?

Hi Martin,
It does this just using the drop down menu for Select All.

Hi,

Have you tried in Cubase Safe Start Mode, please?

Hi Martin,
I did try that but it still had the same behavior. Strangely, if I use Ctrl A twice it does select everything in the timeline.

Hi Martin,
Doing further testing this behaviour only happens if the Marker Window is open and Sync Selection is checked under settings. If I close the Marker Window and select Ctrl A everything is selected, if the Marker Window is open the behaviour comes back.
This behaviour is identical in N12 as well.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for the investigation and the details. Now I can reproduce it and confirm.

Reported to Steinberg.
