Hi,
I’ve noticed a issue with the Smarten quotes feature in Paragraph Styles.
When enabled, typing a straight apostrophe (U+0027) changes the visual glyph to a curly apostrophe (U+2019), but Dorico still uses the original straight apostrophe’s width for line-breaking calculations.
In Academico font, both glyphs have the same width, so no issue occurs. In fonts such as Times New Roman, however, U+2019 is wider than U+0027. Because the actual rendered width exceeds Dorico’s initial measurement, it causes unexpected line breaks in tight containers like staff labels.

Could the team take a look into this? Thank you.
