Tie two (Slur, ordinary tie, gliss or whatever kind or even combo you like) or more notes and add any kind playing technique to the tied/target note(s): Will be ignored. Example: Staccato in tied note.
Just to clarify things: a tied note in Dorico is one note (graphically displayed as two notes with a tie).
Articulations will be added to that one note (and can be displayed in the first or second note - depending on your preference/properties)
All other combinations - two notes with a slur or a glissando are a different thing. You deal with two notes.
