Could you share the project where you’re seeing this behaviour, in case something specific to that project is causing it?
If you don’t want to share the whole thing, you can create a duplicate project, and remove all music except the offending bars (so long as that excerpt still demonstrates the issue!)

I’m currently not able to stably reproduce the behaviour with random things deleted (having no time to figure out the minimum deletion to keep the behaviour) so I’ll send you a copy of my whole project in private.

Hi @Tweswend – many thanks for bearing with me for the last couple of days. I suspect this is a temporary view glitch, because if you switch to the other layout then back again, they both return to where they “should” be (eg the lower tie curves downwards).
Exactly why that’s happening is beyond me, but I’ll raise it with the developers in case there’s something they can fix.
